Here are some software applications we've found to be useful and interesting.

	This is a sample Media Player which is bundled as part of the Microsoft DirectX SDK. This player has a cool feature to let you play the video at half as well as double the regular speed. Click on the Media Player icon on the left to download the player.
	Another sample Media Player from the Microsoft DirectX SDK. Features for this player include frame-by-frame playback, variable playback rates, and image capture. Click on the Media Player icon on the left to download the player.
	This is a general hi jack detector and remover. HijackThis lists the contents of key areas of the registry and hard drive--areas that are used by both legitimate programmers and hijackers. The program is continually updated to detect and remove new hijacks. It does not target specific programs and URLs, just the methods used by hijackers to force you onto their sites. As a result, false positives are imminent, and unless you're sure about what you're doing, you should always consult with knowledgable folks before deleting anything.
